California College of the Arts @ 74 New Montgomery, SF
In January 2010, New Montgomery Partners and Very Public Arts - with generous sponsorship from the San Francisco Art Dealers Association - host the California College of Art, departments of Fashion and Furniture at 74 New Montgomery (corner of Jesse & Annie Streets) in San Francisco. Window boxes were constructed, retail lighting installed, and from January 2010 through April 2010 student work is displayed in ongoing rotation.
Very Public Arts @ Marquee Lofts, Oakland
July 2009, Marquee Lofts, Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, California. Artists Christopher Loomis and Paul Hayes collaborate with Very Public Arts for the first storefront installation. Subsequently, the City of San Francisco commissions artists for a store front program, including Chris Looms. Loomis and Hays are represented by Johansson Projects and Swarm Gallery of Oakland, California.
